Mobridge City Parks

The City of Mobridge operates a Park System that includes:

 

Legion Memorial Park: located in the northeast part of town, with three softball diamonds, concessions, restrooms, bleachers, soccer fields, football fields, tennis courts, and the new aquatic center.

West Playpark: located in the west central part of town, with outdoor grills, covered picnic area, playground, horse shoe pits, restrooms, and football field.

East Playpark: located in the south east part of town, with outdoor grill, covered picnic area, playground equipment, outdoor basketball hoop, restrooms.

City Park: located in the central part of town at the north end of Main Street, with flower gardens, two covered gazebos, picnic areas, and restrooms.

Plaza Park: located on Main Street adjacent to the Scherr Howe Event Center, with flower gardens and bench seating.

Wrigley Square: located on the north end of Main Street, with bench seating and an outdoor stage area.

Riverfront Walking Path: over two miles of asphalt surfaced walking path with covered picnic areas, wild flowers, historical interpretive signage, and bench seating.

Disc Golf: located along the east side of the riverfront walking path, tournament-ready 18-hole disc golf course with concrete touch pads.

Future plans include two locations for dog parks and introduction of community walking path within the city’s residential areas, connecting schools and shopping with parks and neighborhoods.
