Mobridge-Pollock Music Department will host SDMEA Festival Choir on Monday, March 4 at the Edge Event Center. Mobridge is one of seven Festival Choir sites around the state of South Dakota hosting the event for singers in grades 4, 5, and 6 whose directors are members of the National Association for Music Education. The Mobridge event will bring together 107 singers from seven different schools including Aberdeen Simmons, Agar-Blunt-Onida, Bowdle, Eureka, Herreid, Hoven, and Mobridge-Pollock.  Seventeen Mobridge-Pollock singers in grades 4, 5, and 6 will participate. Heather Aune from Jamestown, North Dakota is this year's guest conductor and Nancy McClellan of Mobridge is the accompanist.  Doors open at 3:45, and the public is invited to attend the concert at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4. A suggested donation of $5 per person is requested. The statewide event is sponsored by the South Dakota Music Education Association.
