Independent Living Choices is seeking a full-time Independent Living Specialist for our Mobridge, SD office. The position requires some travel in a multi-county area to provide services (Independent Living Skills Training, advocacy, assist in identifying and applying for resources, etc.) to people with disabilities who choose to live independently. The ability to assess an individual’s needs in their home is required. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are desired. A bachelor’s degree in a human services field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required. Starting wage is between $16 - 17.50 per hour, depending on qualifications. Excellent job flexibility, paid leave, health/dental insurance, and 401K are provided. Open until filled.
