We have been your family-owned and operated, full-service grocery store for over 50 years. In 1960 Grandpa Jim Stoick started Stoick’s Supervalu in Mobridge, SD. 30 years later we became known as Paylessfoods and Grandpa Jim’s son, Benj, and grandson, Josh, ran the store. Now Josh and his wife Heather are the owners keeping the grocery store in the family since 1960.

History - Established in 1984.

This business was leased from Jerome Aberle of Aberle Well Company. Gregg worked for Jerome from 1975 until 1984. While leasing the business, it was called Aberle Well Services. The business was purchased outright in 1998 and was renamed Gregg's Drilling and Excavating. 

Meet the Business Owner

Gregg grew up first in Minnesota and then Mobridge, SD. He began working for Jerome as a well driller right out of high school. Throughout the years, experience taught him the lay of the land for mid North through mid South Dakota.
